From Nervous to Natural: Personal Branding Photography Made Easy

So you’re thinking about doing a personal branding session. How exciting! This is a great step for connecting to more clients for your business. I know that’s it’s not easy to step in front of the camera (believe me, even as a photographer I’m not immune to this either!) To make this all as easy as possible for you, I’ve come up with a process that makes taking branding photos surprisingly relaxed and fun.

Guided Posing

I know that the thought of knowing what to do in front of the camera can be nerve-wracking – lots of things go through your mind: What should I do with my hands? How do I stand to look thinner? Does my smile look real? As your Personal Branding photographer, I’ll guide you through how to stand or sit, where to put your hands, how to tilt your head, basically everything from head to toe - making adjustments until you look your best. I believe in posing over photoshop and have learned the best ways to flatter my clients in photos. Together we’ll get some of the best photos of yourself that you’ve ever had!

A Collaborative Experience

I truly believe that working together is what results in the best images. During your session I’ll talk you through everything and be sure to share images with you to make sure that we’re on the right track. And when you see how the photos are turning out you’ll definitely be able to relax and enjoy the process. Your input is super important to me, and together we’ll take photos that you’ll be happy to post – photos that truly reflect your brand.

Addressing Your Concerns

It’s actually normal to be afraid that you won’t like the photos. But what if, instead, you expect that you are finally getting photos that you love? I’m here to listen to any concerns you might have, whether it’s about posing, how you look on camera, or anything else on your mind. My goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable throughout the entire photo shoot experience.

Attention to Detail

It’s often the little things that make a big difference in photos. I pay close attention to everything, from finding the perfect angle and lighting to making small adjustments in your hair and clothes. And I’m definitely gonna be checking for lipstick on your teeth! After years as a photographer, I naturally scan everything before taking a photo to ensure that we’re getting the best image possible.

At the end of the day, it’s my job is to make sure you feel confident and relaxed during our session. I’m here to provide you with beautiful images that truly represent who you are. When you’re ready to be the face of your brand, I’m here to help you every step of the way!
